The vines are grown in the old land around Montpellier, in the heart of the Languedoc. The soil is "cailloutis", French for red small gravel-like stones. The hot climate and dry conditions produce a very low yield of grapes, however produce high quality wines.
The Caliterra Rose is a fresh, fruity wine. The fruity taste of strawberries and cherries makes the wine uncomplicated. Also aromas of wild flowers and spices with the smooth texture and fresh aftertaste give the wine a super balance. It is a fairly powerful, well-structured Rose, that goes will with grilled fish or on the terrace in the sun.
