This wine has a beautiful and intense colour. The nose is spicy and the red fruit tones are clear. Smooth tasting with soft aromas of ripe fruit. The wine is well balanced with an elegant aftertaste.
The vines are grown in the old land around Montpellier, in the heart of the Languedoc. The soil is "cailloutis", French for red small gravel-like stones. The hot climate and dry conditions produce a very low yield of grapes, however produce high quality wines.
